Short bio
Professor in the department of social and cultural anthropology at UAB. He has recently participated in a project about social entrepreneurship in Catalunya and he is leading two projects about urban poverty and subsistence and networking strategies.
General research lines
His line of research deals with the analysis of subsistence strategies in poor families and networks in Catalunya. Relation between poverty, social capital and stigma in charitable organizations. Social entrepreneurship in Catalunya.
Research lines in the area of entrepreneurship and social innovation
Ethnography of social entrepreneusrhip, networks and labor anthropology.
