Bachelor in Business Administration and Management, he has been a professor at UAB since 2000. He specializes in sociology of education and environmental sociology. He combines his academic activity with creative writing (scripts and novels).

His research focuses on resolution and social management of conflicts in urban spaces. Impact of the global production and consumption models for local communities. The agri-food industry and its alternatives.
